Case Western Reserve University started as 2 separate institutions which are Case Institute of Technology and Western Reserve College that came together in 1967 to form Case Western Reserve University and became one of the country’s leading research institutions. Today, the university offers almost 200 undergraduate, graduate and professional programs. Virtually all 2,600+ faculty members hold the doctorate or terminal degrees. Case Western Reserve counts 15 Nobel laureates (including the first American scientist to receive the prize) among its current and former faculty and alumni. Founded in 1910, Bowling Green State University (BGSU) is a welcoming and safe residential campus located in Bowling Green, Ohio, 30 minutes south of the city of Toledo, Ohio, and 90 minutes south of Detroit, Michigan. BGSU’s park-like campus, home to over 19,000 undergraduate and graduate students, contains more than 115 buildings, including the new Stroh Center, the Wolf Center for the Arts and several new residences and dining facilities.
